When doing roller skating, the most important equipment is roller skates. Are roller skates professional and what are the classifications? In fact, roller skates can be divided into two categories according to their structure: double row roller skates and single row roller skates. There are many categories in single row roller skates, so today I will focus on the classification of single row roller skates.
Double row roller skates are used for jumping, spinning and footwork of various difficulties in a dedicated venue, that is, international figure skating, also called figure skating. The so-called double-row roller skates, as the name suggests, are four wheels side by side in front and back, using wheels with a larger grounding lateral area, with brakes on the front sole, and are the most widely used roller skates for women in major skating rinks.
Single-row roller skates are also called inline roller skates. As the name suggests, the wheels on each shoe are arranged in a straight line. They are mainly divided into the following types according to their functions: casual shoes, speed skating shoes, flat shoes, roller skating shoes. and extreme shoes.
Generally used in street parks, the wheels are of the same size, and the right heel has a brake, emphasizing comfort, and the shoe shell should not be too soft, otherwise it may cause ankle sprains.
The knife holder and the upper shoe of this kind of shoes are generally integrated (except for a few high-end brands). The wheels are generally made of polyester material to ensure sufficient elasticity and gripping effect. The quality of the wheels directly affects the effect and safety of sports.
speed skating shoes
In order to reduce the load and give full play to the strength of the ankle, the uppers are relatively short, the height is generally below the bare feet, and the flexibility is high. The uppers are made of full leather, which is better wrapped. Speed skating shoes are generally based on 4-wheel or 5-wheel shoes, and now there are also 3-wheel shoes as entry-level training shoes.
It is mainly used for free-style roller skating such as fancy piling and fancy braking, and can also be used for street brushing and leisure. The main components are upper shoes, knife holder and wheels. The upper shoe is mainly composed of the shoe shell, the inner liner, and the upper (the parts of some carbon fiber shoes are integrated and cannot be disassembled).
The upper of the shoe shell is divided into hard and semi-soft. The hard upper is wear-resistant, but has no plasticity. It is more suitable for braking, FSK and flat flower entry. The semi-soft upper has a certain degree of plasticity. Fitting, most semi-soft shoes have thermoplastic function, and the base of the shoe is mainly made of plastic, glass fiber, and carbon fiber. Of course, the materials are different, and the price difference is also different.
roller skating shoes
It is used for roller skating sports, because it is a confrontational project, so the shoes have higher strength requirements. The balls used in the game are relatively hard, the ball speed is fast, and the toe cap is made of hard engineering plastic to give the best protection to the toes. It has a special design for sports that are often used in competitions, with a towering heel protection system and an extra-long tongue.
The upper is semi-soft, the shoe body is more comfortable, the knife holder is inclined forward, and there are many cases of sudden stops and turns in the game, so the knife holder and the upper shoe are connected by rivets. The wheel arrangement of HI-LO, generally the front 2 wheels are small and the rear 2 wheels are large, which is convenient for sprinting acceleration. The multi-lace hole design makes the shoe fit the foot better.
Also known as skill roller skates, they are mostly lace-up and buckled, so that it is not easy to cause danger due to the loosening of the shoe buckle when doing stunts. The base is also lower than casual roller skates to maintain a lower center of gravity, and the shell is stiffer to provide safety protection against violent impacts.
Generally, the distance between the front and rear wheels is relatively close to reduce the grip, because too strong grip will make it difficult to complete certain stunts. There is a limit bottom plate under the base, which is used for clamping steps, and a clamping slot is designed in the middle of the tool holder, which is convenient for clamping the rod.
