However, it is not recommended that you use indoor wheels outdoors. These indoor wheels can be very bumpy when used outdoors on rough surfaces, as they don’t absorb any vibrations from sliding on rough surfaces and wear out too quickly; also, the indoor wheels are prone to getting stuck on pebbles, melon seeds and shells , small twigs, causing problems with the skater’s stability.
2. Outdoor wheels
Outdoor wheels are the perfect polyurethane product for inline skating in the early 1970s. Their unique property is called “bounce”. The hardness of most outdoor wheels is between 78A-85A. The lower the value, the softer the hardness. If the outdoor road conditions are complicated, 78A is the best choice. It is worth mentioning that the cost (formulation cost and material cost) of hard-wearing outdoor wheels is 35% to 50% higher than the average cost of indoor wheels.
